SWAG : SOMETHING-WE-ALL-GOT

Hey Guys,
Did you guys watch Golden Globe? I don't miss awards for anything. Can't wait for Oscars, coming back to blog I think I posted the preview of this post way to early, I told you around 3 months ago( laugh) that I would do post on military jacket.Sigh!finally! I actually was saving this for new year along with the red tweed from earlier post, which I saved it for christmas. Well, that didn't quite work out. Christmas it rained and on new year I got busy with friends and boyfriend. I am totally smitten by this jacket, from the first moment I saw it on Wendy( Wendy's Lookbook). When I saw it on her I was saddened because she is all Valentino,McQueen kinda girl, but at the end when I saw it was from Zara,I went online immediately and ordered same. My boyfriend always tells me, I am too materialistic whenever I am so over the moon after having shopped one of the most coveted items of my wish-list.
Military Jacket in camo has created quite a buzz in fashionland right now. Sometimes for such a stand out jacket you need to get your imagination rolling and just get crazy with the colors and try on lots of accessories. I absolutely love how much of a statement piece this jacket is ( shamelessly bragging) haha.

Alright girls,so I have mentioned "color blocking" few times in my blog and done a post on it too HERE. I ll spare you all the dry history on it and cut to the chase. To get the color blocking right, go for bright and bold colors. You know what they say color blocking is best when it is loudest ( says genius me haha), but seriously louder the better. We might never get a chance to wear such bold hues ever than now, where color blocking is actually a trend and where no one would look at you like you were a clown.I say there's never been a better time to wear loud pop of color than now-period!

Shoes, well my faux Jeffrey Campbell Litas. As I mentioned before I am not much of a bulky bootie kinda girl. I am more fascinated by sleek stilettos and in my own way I pride on my collection. You aren't considered a decent blogger unless you own a pair of JCs (haha),not really but I guess I was tad drawn to it by the crowd.Everybody seems to be in love with Litas, before I bought the real article, wanted to try its look alike. I don't wana regret buying $200 shoes, which is most likely if I don't wear after buying it- I tend to do that a lot more than you think. This look alike was $60 and since I love yellow, just bought it without giving much thought to it.
I have done my fair research on it,many faux litas are now available in much cheaper prizes. I think they are pretty identical with Litas, only giveaway is the heel, faux wooden heels just like mine. I don't think many could tell the difference (if only your lita expert, that is). I am gona buy the real deal soon, as good as those replicas are, I am gona go with the genuine one. In the end investing tad more on authentic items is always worth it. I will be good with one genuine pair and one look alike, as i said they are just for the sake of having it in my collection. Also, One Jeffrey Campbell= one Jessica Simpson shoes,oh! I will always choose for JS's. There is this one particular Jessica Simpson shoe I wana do post on, so look forward to it.

This hairstyle looks so complicated, right? actually I am no good with complications. Its a simple haido works with wavy hair-even better with curly. If you have straight then might as well get started with your curling iron.I don't really like straight hair anymore. Its all messy hairdos with me. If you wana achieve indie/vintage look never straighten your hair. This hairstyle is Rihanna Inspired from her Music video "we found Love".

Phew! I feel like I wrote a lot,so no more scribbles and I will let you enjoy my photos. Sorry! about the effects, I hardly add any but this time pictures came really dull as it was a very cloudy and gloomy day on the shoot. Thank you for reading our stuffs, like always! have a good week.

Do you like what you see?

Hey readers,
Oh there she is with eyes closed, yes! our model she does that a lot ( laugh),jokes apart I know it hasn't been long since my last post. I couldn't just help myself, yesterday was such a beautiful day with maximum temperature of 21°C, when just on Tuesday it was 43 °C; that’s the prize we pay for living in coastal side. Heat wave isn’t over yet; this Saturday is predicted to be same. I thought yesterday was a perfect opportunity to go for a shoot before temperature went soaring up again. Since there was no sun, I am afraid pictures came little dull but I would choose dull pictures 100 times over a photo-shoot in 45 °C. Where your sweating like a buffoon with smeared makeups all over.

I love this halter neck dress. I have always hated my bust size, its way too small even for Asian. Halter neck in any forms help girls like me create cleavage and look bit perkier. And I particularly love this one because you can add accessories to it. Wear any necklaces over it; they all match with the dress. This dress is little big for me so I normally add belt to waist but this dress was a perfect fit to her so I didn’t bother with the belt. If you do own a similar dress, just add belts of any kind and see the result. I don’t really own any leather dress, so the faux leather skirt part of the dress is what drew me and neck part too.
This bag is very handy. Its really huge and fits all my stuffs. Its not a bad looking either. Oh! about the shoes, if you think I own lots of shoes in beige, yes! I indeed do. I bought this shoes during christmas, not 2012 christmas in fact bought it in 2011. Can you believe I never really wore it till she did. Since I keep all my shoes in their original boxes,it was as new as when I first bought it.

I really like pony tails on her. I think it matches with her face shape. Her hairdo is simple, just section the top hair from the rest and frech braid it and then tie it with rest of the hair. This hair is  Nicole Scherzinger inspired.

Have a good weekend. Thanks for reading our blog and do share your views on us.Feedbacks would be greatly appreciated.

HNY : My lust for Red

 Hello everyone!
A very Happy new year! Sorry about the long gap, somehow this summer heat made it impossible for us to go out for a shoot. We went to ocean side, hoping its breeze would make a photo-shoot possible and we made it right on time-beautiful sunset.
Well been wanting to do a post on distressed summer jackets. This tweed is one of the must haves for all time. You can wear them in summer,spring/fall and also during early winter but you might have to wear boots and tights along with it. I have been dying to own a IRO red tweed but I couldn't get it in my size. When I saw its look alike in Zara,my joy knew no boundary. If you want to buy same, now would be a good time. Its on sale,it wasn't when I bought it. I paired it with high waist denim shorts. 80's denim with high waist is so popular these days, though its a vintage style, I find it more feminine than low waists. I was bit skeptic when I first started, since Aussies really dig it and it suited their curvy bodies. Being a petite girl, I was doubtful how it would look on me, but I guess I don't look that bad-perse.

Bag, I am carrying is the iconic LADY DIOR by Christian Dior. I like backstory to this bag. How  Princess Diana became obsessed with this bag after she received her first as a gift from France's first lady. After that she carried all style possible from Dior.As she was the most photographed woman on planet, she made the bag known to the world since she was often seen toting around, hence the name Lady Dior.I think LD bags are made of lambskin like most of other designer bags.As much as I love animal,I don't think I can give up on these bags,Sorry!
Sonam Kapoor,Bollywood Style Diva carries this bag often in her film Aisha and also carries off screen. Most of my bags are in tote, now I am focusing more on messenger and satchels.I wore everything red, even my earrings. So,do you think this whole combination is good enough to be my first post in 2013?

I am wearing braided bun and its a easy peasy hairdo.I was told that the hair tutorials that I post are helpful.I am glad, I just share my finds and will continue to do so.Well I ll write more in my next post, for now enjoy my photos and once again A VERY HAPPY 2013.Hope this year gives you immense happiness.
