An Epiphany

Dear readers,
You have already seen the preview of this post months ago, somehow I thought this would make the perfect fall post. Alas, here I am with another cliche outfit ensemble. How is it that every time you put black, white and red together you cannot get it wrong even if you tried.
I have ninety nine problems in my life but black dress and shoe ain't one of em. You may think wearing predictable red and black is a snooze but it can actually turn out to be a badass ensemble. Its just matter of style and how you pull it off. The little blackdress is timeless, old school indefinitely, yet it has a certain sassiness and class..thats what they say right, 'you can always buy a style but not a class'?

I am wearing this veil hat of mine in black. I have worn the similar type before and I just can't get enough of em. They have scored quite a hit among my friends and family and I have seen few fellow fashion bloggers buying same, now who is influential? (wink).

This chunky wedge booties look quite heavy but they are in real as light as feather.Somehow most of my friends adored this shoe, beats me as to why as I would like to think I have better ones in my collection. One of my friends; she convinced me to sell this one and yeah I am gullible (laugh)

I have news for you guys, I think I might stop blogging after all. My family has been telling me it takes lot of my time, its nice of em that they understand I adore fashion, they insist I can shop as I do but stop with this whole blogging as they feel its not just a hobby as I claim but something that takes lot of my time. I started blogging because I have always adored cloths, shoes and bags. And I thought why the hell don't I  just give my two cents on fashion, thats when I started blogging. Now, I don't know if I blogged because I shop or I shop to blog. When I started it was definitely the former one but now I am not so sure. Yet nothing gives me the same buzz that a delivery at the door or a glossy carrier bag can do. The truth is, I'm a shopaholic. I buy far more cloths and shoes than I either need or use.  I don't like the innocent first step to blogging I took, now is something I do to prove god knows what. These days it had me wondering do one person really need two hundred pairs of shoes, do I really need every season's must haves, am I this person who only think, breath and eat her cloths and shoes. No and No, I don't wana be this girl and looks like I am gona be busy anyways with new projects, so I am thinking of shutting down my blog.I have been eaten with this guilt for quite some time now, I didn't know what to do so I have been supporting a cause with my supposedly shopping fund, it isn't much but I feel great that somehow I have helped in my own little ways. I have mentioned I don't like to get into details, goods deeds are done not spoken off. Do you guys think I should stop blogging? why do I feel like some kind of remorse over nothing, Gosh! I think I am having an epiphany of biblical proportion.

Fickle is Fun

Hello everyone!
I had this pictures taken while ago but as I looked more into these pictures. They looked too Blue for my liking. If I could do-over this shoot, I would wear a black shoe and a long thin knit cardigan to nullify the blueness from this look. I adore Ivory print and in this maxi dress, I especially love the halter neck part of the dress. It has stylishness and chicness written all over. A dress with eye catching detailing is the perfect way to jazz up an everyday outfit.

Isn't the halter neck style seem too trendy these days?

These shoes look too beaten up, I admit, these pair are like my perfect work shoes. They give me little bit of height and are uber comfortable. Jeffrey Campbell has these replica as well, they are very simple and comfortable.

I was watching TV, which I haven't done in a very long time. I came into an fashion advertisement  which said "Fickle is Fun". I thought it was such an apt slogan for their campaign. We girls take ages to decide what to wear, when to wear, how to wear..we change into hundreds of cloths before we decide on one, sometimes playing dress-up is fun, indeed fickle is fun. Since sunday is my off day, I am in a mood to write.
I learn't something this year: the more I shop, the less I have. I would like to think I am one of those who doesn't follow crowd when it comes to fashion, I could never understand the hype and degree of craze for JC's litas, like wise I couldn't understand why Balenciaga's Cutout booties are so popular in fashionverse. I saw those boots worn by celebrities, but they never made my heart beat faster. Its hardcore buckles are too masculine for my liking. So, many brands made look-alikes and since they are everywhere its hard to ignore em. They gradually grew on me, I wanted a look-alike which even kicked the original ones ass. I was so confused between the first and second one from the picture below. I bought both, thinking I could keep one and sell the other one which I least fancied. To my surprise this seller from whom I have bought few boots like JC's nirvana inspired booties and few others. He sent me third one in the picture for free as I am one of his loyal customers.Fickle is fun indeed! So, now I have to decide on one from three..which one do you think I should keep?

These cape Blazers and Blazer dress are something I bought few months back and I saw these celebrity bloggers wearing em and I couldn't help but be smug about my choice. I am gonna blog and show em soon on my blog.
She is one of my australian based blogger I follow, She does the grunge look the best. I so wanted this cape blouse of hers  so badly. I can use the expression, searched heaven and earth for em( laugh). Finally I got em and I am so happy about its quality. This post is not to showoff about stuffs I have bought, Its like haul video where I am showing my new purchases, only this time around its in written form.

On the rebound

Hello everyone!
I chose this dress because it reminded me of Goeche( bhutanese print). I thought it was apt to post when Tsechus are in full swing in Bhutan. Nothing to elaborate on this post, I just love the print and moreover  Green-Yellow are very great combination. I just wished I had added yellow cardigan to this look. Somehow I felt that cardigan would even look better with my nirvana-inspired booties. So, I am saving it for later.
These shoes I bought on a rebound. Rebound on Guess Yellow Pointy pumps, which I wanted but never got. Back in sydney, whenever I bought stuffs from GUESS, which I did quite a lot, since Ninewest and GUESS are the most common stores in most shopping malls over there. They restock/newstock their items every other month, so naturally most items would be on sale, which suited me just dandily. I could totally wait it out on those stuffs I coveted, unluckily Luck did runner on me during yellow pumps and I bought these over my broken heartedness (laugh). Jokes apart, when GUESS ran out on my size, I bought these as they looked alike.

This post I intend to keep it short as sunday is only off day I get, I wana spend it wisely, wisely as in get back to my books hahaa. I am reading GoneGirl by Gillian Flynn, you must have heard about Ben Affleck's Gone-girl movie, which is doing extremely well right now, way to another Oscar I see. Seriously you either need to watch or read this, not many movies are rated 9 everywhere.
