Styl3: Laid back

Hello guys!
Its Anzac day today and a public holiday in Australia. I thought it was an apt time for me to have a post. This outfit is no fuss, low key and most casual to kick in. This is one of those outfit which is not supposed to glam you up and most importantly it took me less than 10 mins to get ready.Call the casual revolution or whatever, but widespread acceptance of casual clothing is the best thing ever happened to fashion-land. Normally T-shirt and jeans are the de-facto uniform for the off duty for me, nothing makes me feel more casual. Like I mentioned before, for last few years I have been going through some weight issues. I own very less denim jeans, most of my jeans are in size 26, embarrassing as it is to say but they are all little too big for me now. I hardly get jeans in my size, I own very few jeans which fit me perfectly and I am not really fond of wearing loose jeans. The ones I wear are some of the few that I managed to scrap it in size 24 and 25 from various stores. I resort to leggings and Jeggings for that very reason. They are one of my favourite types of fashionable spandex because of their flexibility. leggings are stretchier, which flatter features like hip, thighs but if worn wrong way could be little too unflattering on some of the womanly curves ( laugh).

I have worn high top shoes alright, but I only had them in converse. I never really did own any sneakers.I bought my first pair in 2012 boxing day and now I own around like 3 pairs. I really thought I got lucky with this sneaker when I got it for $75 but now I am furious because now there is further reduction in price.

I personally heart Ponchos. I mean really what could be better than snuggling up in a warm cape and looking stylish while doing it. Capes and Ponchos are now available in so many styles and colours that there is one to suit everyone's individual taste. The best thing about ponchos is they are very easy to wear, comfy and yet flattering.

This is same hairdo like I had in my black and white stripe post, though I spiced it up a bit by teasing it and giving more edginess to it. I love side pony-tails and buns, I find it more comfortable to wear.
I think green eye shades look good one me, be it light or dark. I think black, pink and green are what I use most from my eyeshadow palette.

FASHION VIBE

Hey Guys,
I have a new post today. This is definitely not my first post on military/camo prints(here & here). The military trend is huge right now and I absolutely love taking this oversized, much like menswear jacket to another level and make it more feminine. One day its hot, the next day its cold: welcome to fall, with this ever-changing weather, the transitional coat is a must-have for any wardrobe. Right now I am really into army jackets, but not just the plain green parkas you are used to see-ing
. There is definitely a huge change in climate, but it’s not winter yet. Before I have to grab my thick winter coats and talk about winter fashion, I thought I could do post on thin jackets; they still give you warmth in fall crispness during early mornings and evenings.
Oversized military camo jacket has always been a popular trend to grunge lovers especially of that in non-existent summer, jacket teamed with Dr martens, hot pants and bare legs, seems to be popular trends especially with Aussies. I tried little different on her, since the previous post and this were taken on same day; I wanted black and white stripes on her as well.

I saw Stella McCartney pumps with the similar chunky heels like this shoe, I got inspired and thought these shoes would match with this whole get-up.

these pictures were taken in one of the most beautiful tourist destination in sydney. Like every major city has their own china town, within this town resides one beautiful garden, we call it 'Chinese Garden'. Scroll down to see more pictures.

The Zebra or Doppler Effect

 Hey everyone!

You know this weekend was a time good spent. Got some studying done for my midterms, ate lots of good foods and yeah I got a post. A trend that seems to be coming back full force this season is black and white. Aside from simple black and white patterns, what is making a big statement are stripes, namely the black-and-white ones, it’s shaping up as one of the hottest trends. And we got Marc Jacobs and Moschino’s Spring’ 13 runways to thank for this burgeoning two-tone takeover. I was reading recently why ZARA runs so smoothly, one point they made was Zara anticipate the upcoming trends before runways and their unbeatable reasonable prizes make Zara what it is now. I think Zara’s founder’s family is one of the 6 wealthiest families in the world and number 1 in Spain. What I am trying to say is, Zara anticipated this trend last year and they had a nice collection of stripes. Zara is so successful that they do less online and its very hard to get sizes if your local stores run out. Only selective countries have Zara online and Australia isn’t one of em. I had to go through a hell lot of trouble to get my hands on this Blazer along with my Zara military and tweed jacket, which I wore in my first 2 posts of 2013. I had to ask my friend in US to get it delivered in her address and she had it delivered to Australia. It was very expensive with all the delivery stuffs having to care of myself. I liked 2 other purchases, actually loved em but I was meaning to sell this Blazer, as you can see size is little too big. I didn’t remove the price tag, hoping I could sell but now it’s like one of the must haves of 2013, I decided to keep it. Actually can’t find a buyer( laugh), anyone interested? I will sell it for $100 (wink)

One of the new ways to pair your Blazer this season is to wear a matching shorts. I have really been digging this trend. White, Black, red, pink, yellow,Green colored Blazers look so amazing if worn this way, thats my personal observation and I tried with stripes, what do you think? Stripes give Vintage and retro look; it is clean, crisp and classic.
The mall where I usually shop did some extension and I particularly was looking forward to the opening of Michael Kor and while I was on it I visited Stella McCartney and Gucci showroom, knowing I couldn't buy a thing. All of em had amazing black and white patterned cloths. To step- down , brands like Zara and topshop have amazing black and white collections this season as well.

Normally you will notice with my stilettos, I tag never worn or hardly worn and its true, but with my wedges they are like the most worn, explains why this one looks so beaten up! I love wedges, its gives you required height lift and your feets don't kill you whole day. Nothing beats my initialled shirt (wink).
