Valentine Suggestions: Single Ladies part 2

 Hi Readers,
I meant to update my blog few days ago because I have lot of outfits to get over with before valentine but last few days it rained crazy so when it stopped today I couldn't help but set out for a shoot. Good thing about summer here is it gets dark around 8:30 pm; these pictures were taken around 7pm and we made just in time for sun set.
This look is for all single ladies( btw its the continuation of previous post), just because your single, it doesn't mean you have to look any lesser than those in relationship. Some of my single friends say they have no one to please so they don't bother much beautifying when we go out.I really believe that you owe yourself to look your best every time because it really helps with your self esteem and confidence.
okay! enough of prep talk and let me get to the chase.
 To all you single ladies who want to turn some head on valentine when partying with your girlfriends, I say, go for lace dresses. Lace dresses are so seductive( be sure to buy a tight fit one),its so sultry,so timeless and fashion forward, you look quite whimsical too. Mine is not complete lace dress,just my bodice part is lace with a sweetheart neckline and my favourite part is how it flutters from waist to add gorgeous hourglass shape. Keep accessories simple to let the dress do all the talking;
warning: May cause hearts to skip beats ( laugh)

I love bow on it and how it has a peplum tier. My dress its backless, makes it look sexier but I forgot to take a snap from back so I will let your imagination do the rest. I love this round glasses and I love how it is so in these days, its the most covetable trend. I normally invest huge on my sunglasses, though I don't buy them often but when I do I find them worth the investment. I did some university assignment on sunglasses and on my research I found out that cheap sunnies do more harm than good and there is no compromises when it comes to your eyes. So, now why did I buy this cheap sunny knowing everything I just said? well first I don't wear them. I am planing to buy TOMFORD round glasses soon, I had to see if they really looked good on me because not all sunglasses fit on my nose and face ( laugh). Fashion advice, buy sunglasses and watches from an authentic brand, they are not something you have to change often ( if your rich enough then you certainly can) but I advice to be really careful when it comes to sunnies because in long run they can do real damage.
I removed price tag of these shoes just a moment before a shoot. I bought these long time back but never really wore it. I matched my jacket and accessories to it. Did it turn out good or obvious tacky?
To dress red for valentine is little cliche so it doesn't hurt to try something different; don't ditch red completely, instead try to keep it minimal like wearing red lipstick or earrings.Hope this was helpful singles ladies?  more tips in next blog till then take care and have a good week.

Valentine Suggestions: Single Ladies part 1

 Hello Readers,

Valentines day isn't that far, deciding what to wear if you are going out is always difficult; you want something, which is so not over the top, and which isn’t so fussy yet look pretty and stylish and of course be confortable in it.  So, I thought I would give my two cents on how to dress up for the day, whether you are single, searching or attached.
From today's post till Valentine’s Day, It’s all about V-day. My first post as in this post is to you all single ladies. I don't know if you are single by choice or waiting for your prince charming. I am gona be your little fairy godmother and help you prepare for V-day. If you are single and you are going on a casual one time date with someone or plan to party all night long with your girlfriends, this look is perfect for you.
These types of playsuits are for those ladies who embrace their femininity, who likes to flaunt their curves. If you are someone who is just taking a break from a relationship and commitments but got a one time casual date, this getup says you are not trying to please him but at the same time ready to have fun. This outfit is perfect for girl's night out, boots say you are ready to go crazy even climb some fences and do some running around, you can even wear it to party though you might wana change your shoes.
(btw isn't my first picture just epic? LoL)
I am wearing this thin knit sweaters because I like having something warm incase it got chilly; pefect for cinema,in movies I usually get cold even in summer as Ac is just too high. Its okay to break fashion rules, you don't necessarily have to wear red on V-day. I like wearing other colors on V-day but add tad bit of red to it, try to keep the shades of red minimum like just a red lips or shoes.
In no way in the world I am suggesting you wear fedora or carry an earphone, I was just chilling in the park, so those were my park essentials.

Since this look is for single ladies;though you don’t have a hot date, you still want to turn some heads during night out with your girlfriends. Best way is to wear simple, classic dress that accentuates your body type. Ankle boots or wedges are good options for casual approach.

You should be dressed up enough for a fancy dinner, comfortable enough to hit dance floor, and still look casual enough for a fun crazy night!

Collar has jewel embellishments. So I didn't think accessories were required.

I will let my pictures do all the talking and not write much but I promise to write more in next post. If you missed my status on facebook, I mean to have 3-4 posts under each categories(3 categories); Single ladies look, Classy/lady look and sexy before Valentine. My final post will be on V-day with the actual outfit I will wear that day.
xoxo,
C.

SWAG : SOMETHING-WE-ALL-GOT

Hey Guys,
Did you guys watch Golden Globe? I don't miss awards for anything. Can't wait for Oscars, coming back to blog I think I posted the preview of this post way to early, I told you around 3 months ago( laugh) that I would do post on military jacket.Sigh!finally! I actually was saving this for new year along with the red tweed from earlier post, which I saved it for christmas. Well, that didn't quite work out. Christmas it rained and on new year I got busy with friends and boyfriend. I am totally smitten by this jacket, from the first moment I saw it on Wendy( Wendy's Lookbook). When I saw it on her I was saddened because she is all Valentino,McQueen kinda girl, but at the end when I saw it was from Zara,I went online immediately and ordered same. My boyfriend always tells me, I am too materialistic whenever I am so over the moon after having shopped one of the most coveted items of my wish-list.
Military Jacket in camo has created quite a buzz in fashionland right now. Sometimes for such a stand out jacket you need to get your imagination rolling and just get crazy with the colors and try on lots of accessories. I absolutely love how much of a statement piece this jacket is ( shamelessly bragging) haha.

Alright girls,so I have mentioned "color blocking" few times in my blog and done a post on it too HERE. I ll spare you all the dry history on it and cut to the chase. To get the color blocking right, go for bright and bold colors. You know what they say color blocking is best when it is loudest ( says genius me haha), but seriously louder the better. We might never get a chance to wear such bold hues ever than now, where color blocking is actually a trend and where no one would look at you like you were a clown.I say there's never been a better time to wear loud pop of color than now-period!

Shoes, well my faux Jeffrey Campbell Litas. As I mentioned before I am not much of a bulky bootie kinda girl. I am more fascinated by sleek stilettos and in my own way I pride on my collection. You aren't considered a decent blogger unless you own a pair of JCs (haha),not really but I guess I was tad drawn to it by the crowd.Everybody seems to be in love with Litas, before I bought the real article, wanted to try its look alike. I don't wana regret buying $200 shoes, which is most likely if I don't wear after buying it- I tend to do that a lot more than you think. This look alike was $60 and since I love yellow, just bought it without giving much thought to it.
I have done my fair research on it,many faux litas are now available in much cheaper prizes. I think they are pretty identical with Litas, only giveaway is the heel, faux wooden heels just like mine. I don't think many could tell the difference (if only your lita expert, that is). I am gona buy the real deal soon, as good as those replicas are, I am gona go with the genuine one. In the end investing tad more on authentic items is always worth it. I will be good with one genuine pair and one look alike, as i said they are just for the sake of having it in my collection. Also, One Jeffrey Campbell= one Jessica Simpson shoes,oh! I will always choose for JS's. There is this one particular Jessica Simpson shoe I wana do post on, so look forward to it.

This hairstyle looks so complicated, right? actually I am no good with complications. Its a simple haido works with wavy hair-even better with curly. If you have straight then might as well get started with your curling iron.I don't really like straight hair anymore. Its all messy hairdos with me. If you wana achieve indie/vintage look never straighten your hair. This hairstyle is Rihanna Inspired from her Music video "we found Love".

Phew! I feel like I wrote a lot,so no more scribbles and I will let you enjoy my photos. Sorry! about the effects, I hardly add any but this time pictures came really dull as it was a very cloudy and gloomy day on the shoot. Thank you for reading our stuffs, like always! have a good week.
