Striped Maxi ♥+ classic Oxfords

Hi ya there!

We thought we won’t be able to update our blog for quite some time, everyone is super busy with their studies but we promise we will come back strong.
We were headed to our favorite Chinese restaurant for some delicious dumplings and noodles, so we decided to get few clicks, though none of us were blog-ably dressed. When we started we did mention we would be more focused on “ outfit of the day” genre, genre that I always have been most interested.
So featuring C again, she had casual maxi dress on with a denim lookalike shirt with a tiny knot from front, perfect outfit to welcome a spring.

I love the period between August and September, that's when you have to do major transition with your wardrobe. Winter has its own pros and cons but i just simply love springs. Maxi dress is a perfect transitional piece. It makes you feel elegant and casual, all at the same time. Sometimes they kind of remind me of red carpet gowns (dresses which I could never have), you can show off red carpet inspired looks in a more subtle way with a beautiful maxi dress of ur own liking. What I love about maxi is that it can be worn not just by girly girls but those who aren’t comfortable showing their skin, it’s a tom boy counterpart to shorts I guess, looking as much sexy and chic.

Oxford would definitely look great for laid-back, spring striped maxi dress paired with some loose shirt. Comfy but absolutely chic.
Oxfords an almost forgotten style, they have made a smashing comeback in fashion world now. I don’t know anyone who would shy away from this vintage style yet pretty footwear. Surely, you have a place for a pair or two in your shoe rack strictly for those days when you feel like walking around in your maxi skirt in the evening, eating ice-cream and taking photos of scenic spots just like we did  (I am totally bragging haha)

Yay or Nay! on Dr Martens.

Bonjour readers,
Just wanted to drop in and say hello with a quick post. Team has been busy with their lives and their own schedules, actually very busy.
Well we managed to get few clicks on our way back from school. So, for today we have a new model, she is quite different from all the models that we have showcased, she is hoodie, sneakers, and boots kind of girl (cant walk in heels a mile kinda girl).  Coming to this look, our highlight is definitely on those DR.Martens. DR.Martens craze is not definitely like those of louboutins heels, where all girls go "WOW”, some girls find it futile to waste $150-300 on it, and for some (someone like me), find its uncompromising looks, durability and comfort irresistible.
I have never been as perplexed as I was while buying those. There are just too many of it, floral Docs, paisley Docs, hologram Docs, high-heeled Docs, creeper Docs, canvas Docs, glossy Docs.. So many stunners! How does one choose a pair, right? Mission impossible! I would have it all if I had that much money to waste, neither I have a fat pay check nor a huge trust fund, sadly had to settle for a pair. Its not just about its beauty, its cushy rubber soles make it super comfy, explains why Actresses love them, supermodels rock them, hipsters can’t get enough of them.

FYI, it is winter in southern hemisphere, so we are not able to do more posts on shorts and dresses. Come summer, you are gonna love us with tans, shorts, beach and some more beaches.

                                                     Have a pleasant week ahead!!

Life is my runway~chapter 2~

Hi everyone!
This is the continuation of our previous post, as we said Opera house it was. So how do you like us so far? For years I was asked to fashion blog, are we everything you thought we would be? I hate disappointing people. How much would you rate us from 5?
Coming back to this look, this assemble is very dear to me. All the stuffs that are on me, according to me are shopping gone wrongs. The dress is 2years old, which I just wore one time, so is my denim jacket though it is jus a year old. Shoes I am wearing are C&K (Charles and Keith), they are from Singapore, while I was shopping I had this crazy idea that I could buy a dozen pairs of em since they were cheap and never have to buy a single shoe from here and would save lot of money. As expected things didn’t work that way, ended up shopping and my shoes untouched in some corner. To all the readers, shop smart.
Denim jacket, a key-piece in every season. Love how we can add a denim jacket to a simple patterned fishtail dress and accessorise it with a small satchel bag and a pair of nude, sexy, heels. Maybe shopping isn’t the answer always; instead make something out of the piles at the back of your closet.

As I said, I will introduce brands (sth that might be new to you), enter Uno Shimada, a Japanese brand. It might not be one of the cheapest brands around but it caters Asian size, style and rare phenomenon called “Asian swag”.  Why the emphasis? My scarf is from that store; this brand is one of my favourites, its perfect for petite girl like me. You will see lot more of it in future posts.

                                                                    Thank you!!
