My summer Fling!

Hey everyone!
So I am back to work, after almost a month and half break it feels so surreal to be working. My body can’t seem to bring itself to work mode as I am really having hard time waking up early.

This romper/ playsuit from Zara is my absolute favorite. I found this romper in most unexpected way. During my last visit to Bangkok, I was waiting for my brothers while they shopped in men section of Zara; they were taking forever in trial room so I just went to window shop of course. They forbade me to shop anymore because by then I had already shopped my quota out. I can be nice and convincing when needed (laugh). I have been looking a way to switch up my summer style, something cool and very laid back,  I can’t find anything better than romper to define summer style.  Runway trend or not, this one piece is chic while comfortable, maybe does have little functional issues like bathroom issues ( laugh). Bathroom jokes aside, some current iterations have made rompers the staple in summer must haves, little bugger that you have to remove all the way for bathroom won’t even cross your mind. They come in so many styles that you can have your pick depending on occasions, you can’t go wrong in this effortless style. Rompers/ Jumpsuits are extremely versatile. Not only can they work for day with a blazer/cardigans and a belt, they can be jazzed up for the night with right heels and statement jewelry. I don’t need any set of jewelry with this because the detailed bib of this romper is set to have eyes turning. Normally why I love jumpsuits and her sister romper is because they don’t need separate coordination; they will do in a pinch when you are short on time. I don’t think my love for romper is just a summer fling; to me they are here for long haul

EYE heels and clutch are Pierre Hardy inspired. My boyfriend stalks Gdragon of Big bang. He is always watching his videos, cloth he wears to his daily diets. During one of his stalking , I guess Pierre Hardy shoes popped up. Since he thinks fashion is my field of expertise he was like , “ babe ever heard of Pierre Hardy? “  and I was like ,” umm is that a bald designer who makes sneakers” and he just grinned and told me “ No, he is a designer who makes shoes in general not just sneakers but bang on about him being bald” . I just shrugged and was like, “well aint you the lucky one with a smart girl”  (laugh). As it happened we both stalked Pierre Hardy, he may not be the most creative designer in the world but  his shoes have some kind of class and sass.

Another Love Affair

                                                                             Howdy everyone!
I meant to post this look way earlier as I did give a preview a long time back. This year has been the least active year for me as a blogger since I haven't had much updates. I really have busy life and there are too many things I enjoy so I really have to prioritise how I spend my free time. I guess if you want something bad enough, you can squeeze time for it in between your schedules.

As a short person, any hem that extends past the knee length has traditionally given me a pause. Legs are my strong suit, having skinny legs and all that (wink). I wanted to flaunt my legs yet wear this top, so I chose the tightest skinny jeans I own, this pant is so stretchy and comfy. Slim, well tailored and snug fit have been my choice by default. I am so bored with snug fits that any over sized and long line garments catch my attention, taking my anti-fit so seriously ( laugh). Don't over size everything, long length and oversized tops work best when paired with slim or skinny bottoms to create a contrast. Oversizing every part of your outfit puts you on a fast track to the 1990s and not in a good way. Mint green and Aqua Blue hues give your fashion basic a whole new twist in a very refreshing way. I am loving these hues irrespective of any seasons, its a love affair I refuse to end anytime soon
This is my first time in experimenting Body Chains. I can tell you there is a bit of sexiness, enticement and empowerment a body chain gives you. Body chains are relatively new to Bhutanese girls,   I wore this ensemble to one of the nights out, and in my little way I stood out. As a matter of fact, these pictures were taken right before I went out hence the dark picture as it was taken at almost a nightfall.

This shoe is Jimmy Choo Typhoon inspired. They are  really popular among celebrities especially the nude one

High-Low Maxi Dress

Hey everyone!
Its been forever since I had an update, my sincere apologies! Let me get straight to the point. Everyone loves warm, good-spirit, carefree vibes of summer, especially all the fun and easy-breezy clothing that accompanies. Maxi dress is one of those summer staples which I just can't get enough. Although the maxi dress has been a long running summer trend, this year I see styles with full, flowy skirts. My maxi dress has a high-low element, adding this peekaboo element is always sexy. Peek-a-boo as in you are showing your legs by not actually showing all of em, made sense? (laugh). Normally dresses with spaghetti straps and V neck-line can accentuate your best features and give the illusion of a longer, leaner silhouette.
I think its never  been as Maxi of a trend as it is this year. Maxi trend reinvents themselves and earn their ground by bringing together all previous style fads. Hi-Lo Maxi dresses with denim jacket, sweater cardigans, cropped tops, chunky sweaters and so on. Maxi can be paired in hundred and one ways. I love Maxis, I'm talking about the maxi dress as if its a person. yeah, I lose it sometimes ( laugh)

Sophia Webster Butterfly pumps inspired. They come in multiple colors but I love this yellow one the most. Since I am downsizing and this happen to be one of those size 37 which is tad big for me even though I am size 37 ( atleast most of the time). So anyone interested in buying can inbox me.

Working The Denim Vest Trend + patterned leggings

Dear Readers,
These pictures were taken few months back when it was still chilly. These days since it has been raining a lot, I thought this ensemble would work. I love wearing boots during summer,  I think  boots with shorts kick ass and I would definitely do post on that soon enough!
I remember a sort of panic attack in the first time I saw patterned and colourful leggings. Patterned tops or dresses are one thing but pants? I mean, we were just getting used to wearing brightly colored jeans!
As with any challenging fashion scenario, this mild case of fashion anxiety diminished as soon as I started noticing other fashion enthusiasts being bold and carrying it off so awesomely.  I think everyone, despite their sizes and shapes is capable of pulling off any trend with the right confidence and tad bit of creativity. Because of their comfort and wearability, leggings have remained a staple in many girls' wardrobes for numerous seasons. They are easy to pull on, look cute, and are perfect pieces for layering.
Recently, many women have been putting tights underneath their shorts, and pair with booties or wedges, this is a great couture look. Don't be afraid to get a little edgy!

Cropped denim vest are great staple in your closet for summer. They are lightweight and they can keep you warm on a windy and rainy days but not too warm to make you sweaty like a heavy jacket would. You can pair em with almost anything.

Gone are those days when boots were strictly meant for Winters, I have been noticing this combination of dainty dresses, shorts paired with chunky boots sweeping through street style around the world. I think nomore fashion protocols on how, when and where and you can wear anything that You are most comfortable in.
Isn't there a tiny part of you that wants to hold on to the menswear-inflected fashion? historically we would wear feminine high heels or ballet pumps with pretty dresses or skirts, but this season we can wear different, chunky-soled boots with the slinkiest of skirts! thick- soled shoes with trousers and culottes. I just love this boy-meets- girl fashion trend.

Pant Suits : Trend of the Season

Hey everyone!!
Hallelujah! this is my 101st blog post, cheers to making it 100th and to next 100 more. My apologies for always having late update, I think I previewed this post like a zillion days ago. This is gona be a short and fast post. Today I talk girls in suits, not the FBI suit, those  hollywood movies have spoilt me for good. When ever I read crime novels and when FBI is mentioned, I instantly imagine a hot guy with a muscles to die for in a black suit (laugh). You could hardly arrest me for dreaming about alpha hot guys, remember freedom of mind, speech blah blah bulls .. hahaa
Pants suit have made a major comeback this season courtesy to all A-listers celebrities showing up at red carpet events in wide legged pants and broad shoulders blazers, or in tuxedo- look alikes with nothing else underneath. I think this trend is all seasonal kinda thing, because winter you could always add layers with the suit and summer just un-layer it just the same.  You can layer up to 100 pieces underneath that Blazer if you wanted and add a couple of 200s over it as well ( damn! I am a queen of exaggeration hahaa) Pictures below are some of my favourite suit looks from celebs and bloggers.

Bless the lady on ebay who decided to sell this Louboutin Impera Lasercut pumps for half the price. Lucky me that she had her sizing wrong. I hardly wear it outside because I really don't want to damage it..its my little preciouss ( Gollum style). I swear this pair is gona be my shoe for my wedding day (wink).

Stripe Tease

Hello everyone!
This post is long overdue, I just have been lazy. When I get off work I am really tired and only place I wana hit is my bed. I just love this whole ensemble and this look is one of my favourites. Ever since my bad experience with sammy dress when I was in sydney, I have been very skeptical about this site. Last December I decided to give it a second chance and had my stuffs delivered till the apartment I was staying in bangkok( I am not sure if they deliver to Bhutan). And Oh my gosh! I love all the stuffs I ordered, they were really good for the price I paid.
I have been more into twinset outfits than a one piece dress. I am obsessed with cropped tops and matching bottoms, so, as expected my future posts shall all be about separate tops and bottoms rather than a one piece dresses. This trendy two piece look effortlessly chic and boho inspired. There is something retro inspired to this look. Some of you might think, that if we speak about stripes, then it must be be either black and white or white and navy, my future posts shall have differents styles and shades of Stripes. Keep looking forward to my posts!
I have been in love with Gianvito Rossi Honeycomb ever since I saw em on Kim Kardashian. I searched all over for cheap replica, but this beauty sure comes with its price tag. This shoe has been the most coveted shoe in my wish list for so long, it still remains the most favourite of all.
Coming to Clutch, isn't it so cute? Back in October, when designer Jeremy Scott was announced as the new creative director for Italian brand Moschino, every one expected something different right out of the gate. What was expected, he delivered. The brand's pre-fall 2014 collection, had these weird, cute, fantastic and intriguing bags. These Bags are made to look like Miniature Leather Jacket and they come in different shapes, don't worry if the real bags are outta your and my league, there are so many look alikes which are as equally good. I have the shoulder bag version in pink. I will link it below where you can buy same.
