Working The Denim Vest Trend + patterned leggings

Dear Readers,
These pictures were taken few months back when it was still chilly. These days since it has been raining a lot, I thought this ensemble would work. I love wearing boots during summer,  I think  boots with shorts kick ass and I would definitely do post on that soon enough!
I remember a sort of panic attack in the first time I saw patterned and colourful leggings. Patterned tops or dresses are one thing but pants? I mean, we were just getting used to wearing brightly colored jeans!
As with any challenging fashion scenario, this mild case of fashion anxiety diminished as soon as I started noticing other fashion enthusiasts being bold and carrying it off so awesomely.  I think everyone, despite their sizes and shapes is capable of pulling off any trend with the right confidence and tad bit of creativity. Because of their comfort and wearability, leggings have remained a staple in many girls' wardrobes for numerous seasons. They are easy to pull on, look cute, and are perfect pieces for layering.
Recently, many women have been putting tights underneath their shorts, and pair with booties or wedges, this is a great couture look. Don't be afraid to get a little edgy!

Cropped denim vest are great staple in your closet for summer. They are lightweight and they can keep you warm on a windy and rainy days but not too warm to make you sweaty like a heavy jacket would. You can pair em with almost anything.

Gone are those days when boots were strictly meant for Winters, I have been noticing this combination of dainty dresses, shorts paired with chunky boots sweeping through street style around the world. I think nomore fashion protocols on how, when and where and you can wear anything that You are most comfortable in.
Isn't there a tiny part of you that wants to hold on to the menswear-inflected fashion? historically we would wear feminine high heels or ballet pumps with pretty dresses or skirts, but this season we can wear different, chunky-soled boots with the slinkiest of skirts! thick- soled shoes with trousers and culottes. I just love this boy-meets- girl fashion trend.

Pant Suits : Trend of the Season

Hey everyone!!
Hallelujah! this is my 101st blog post, cheers to making it 100th and to next 100 more. My apologies for always having late update, I think I previewed this post like a zillion days ago. This is gona be a short and fast post. Today I talk girls in suits, not the FBI suit, those  hollywood movies have spoilt me for good. When ever I read crime novels and when FBI is mentioned, I instantly imagine a hot guy with a muscles to die for in a black suit (laugh). You could hardly arrest me for dreaming about alpha hot guys, remember freedom of mind, speech blah blah bulls .. hahaa
Pants suit have made a major comeback this season courtesy to all A-listers celebrities showing up at red carpet events in wide legged pants and broad shoulders blazers, or in tuxedo- look alikes with nothing else underneath. I think this trend is all seasonal kinda thing, because winter you could always add layers with the suit and summer just un-layer it just the same.  You can layer up to 100 pieces underneath that Blazer if you wanted and add a couple of 200s over it as well ( damn! I am a queen of exaggeration hahaa) Pictures below are some of my favourite suit looks from celebs and bloggers.

Bless the lady on ebay who decided to sell this Louboutin Impera Lasercut pumps for half the price. Lucky me that she had her sizing wrong. I hardly wear it outside because I really don't want to damage it..its my little preciouss ( Gollum style). I swear this pair is gona be my shoe for my wedding day (wink).

Stripe Tease

Hello everyone!
This post is long overdue, I just have been lazy. When I get off work I am really tired and only place I wana hit is my bed. I just love this whole ensemble and this look is one of my favourites. Ever since my bad experience with sammy dress when I was in sydney, I have been very skeptical about this site. Last December I decided to give it a second chance and had my stuffs delivered till the apartment I was staying in bangkok( I am not sure if they deliver to Bhutan). And Oh my gosh! I love all the stuffs I ordered, they were really good for the price I paid.
I have been more into twinset outfits than a one piece dress. I am obsessed with cropped tops and matching bottoms, so, as expected my future posts shall all be about separate tops and bottoms rather than a one piece dresses. This trendy two piece look effortlessly chic and boho inspired. There is something retro inspired to this look. Some of you might think, that if we speak about stripes, then it must be be either black and white or white and navy, my future posts shall have differents styles and shades of Stripes. Keep looking forward to my posts!
I have been in love with Gianvito Rossi Honeycomb ever since I saw em on Kim Kardashian. I searched all over for cheap replica, but this beauty sure comes with its price tag. This shoe has been the most coveted shoe in my wish list for so long, it still remains the most favourite of all.
Coming to Clutch, isn't it so cute? Back in October, when designer Jeremy Scott was announced as the new creative director for Italian brand Moschino, every one expected something different right out of the gate. What was expected, he delivered. The brand's pre-fall 2014 collection, had these weird, cute, fantastic and intriguing bags. These Bags are made to look like Miniature Leather Jacket and they come in different shapes, don't worry if the real bags are outta your and my league, there are so many look alikes which are as equally good. I have the shoulder bag version in pink. I will link it below where you can buy same.

Keep Your cool

Yo!
summer is officially here, these were taken almost two weeks ago, when it rained  all week, Thimphu's weather always blows hot and cold. Its unberably hot during day and when you think you would be rewarded with cool evenings, it actually gets cold..UFF! With the gloomy weather, It can definitely be tough to dress for a rainy day because there are so many things to consider. Suede Shoes are no-go, suedes off-limit because rain usually ruins it, go with rubber, pleather, or protectant-treated leather or faux leathers.
Add color! Don't get hesitant to wear something bright and fun on a rainy day. Bad weather can be depressing, so why not go out of your way to wear something non-depressing and cute? Yellow is bold, yellow is harder to pull off than Pink and red. This outfit ensembles works for me but I guess not for many, as my friends and family told me I looked funny. A classic trench coat is always perfect for rainy weather, saving my trenches for later updates, since I think they team up well with shorts. I have added my sweater long cardigan. Rainy day outfit suggestions on such a hot day? hehee..well since its monsoon season, it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Shredded Cardi with Chained boots

Hey Guys!!
Today was not a  good day for photo-shoot because it rained almost whole day, but that didn't stop me. Just wanted to a post on OOTD. It was a cold day so I dressed accordingly, I always feel like don't compromise your comfort and warmth for style. Why freeze yourself wearing em shorts in cold weather, right? I have found for every season there is a style and trends.
Nothing to elaborate much on this ensemble, its pretty simple. Its comfy and simple. I love that Hi-Lo top, I was actually waiting for my brothers in Pantip Plaza in bangkok, I was waiting for long time so  decided to go mall next door, Platinum mall is so huge,I know you get cloths and shoes in most reasonable prices but damn its so big. I feel mall is so stuffy, lot of stores to choose from, it confuses the hell out of me so I always end up almost buying nothing from there. This top I bought from the one of the few first stores I visited and just as I was paying my brothers buzzed me, I didn't get to explore the whole mall but I found few interesting stuffs from the stores I visited. This top probably costed me 300 baht, but hey don't you think it deserves every penny of those 300.
Long cardigans, kiminos trend is bigger than anything, firstly I will run by you my long sweater cardigans, gradually as climate warms up I shall show my chiffon and lace kiminos.
Boots hate you not. Love Those Zara babies, they are heavy alright but they are uber comfy too. I have Biker chained boots from Chanel ( replica), they are pretty similar in style so I have decided to sell this one. I paid Nu. 4000 in bangkok, I ll be selling em for the same price as I wore it just one time for this photo shoot.   Anyone interested? Talk about selling, I have noticed most girls dig JC's litas lookalikes more than any shoes, as those were the ones I sold pretty quickly. I have sold 3 of em and I ll be putting others on sale pretty soon.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend? I sure as hell gonna go out and enjoy myself. Love life, live life and work even harder, there is nothing stopping you but youself. everyone have a good night and even a better week.

Eternal Cape trend

Hey guys,
I am not that busy with work lately, yet I stayed away from  blogging, by choice it was. With everything going on in my life, blogging takes least priority and as I mentioned in my previous post, If I could I would. I took these pictures around last week, pictures turned just fine.
Hellujah! finally a spring after never ending Winter yet with this rain and wind, cant really tell much difference. So, for chilly spring or early summer  I find pairing tall boots with very thin top very reasonable. You don't feel the chill with the warmth your boot gives. Detachable cape blouse are everthing, I can't tell you how much I love this delicate looking blouse! Its simple, comfy and super chic and a must - have staple that can be worn with anything. Best of all, when you throw on the attachable cape it transforms into a basic and plain blouse. Cape trend is huge, but they are best meant for spring and fall. I have found even the thickest of cape jackets can't keep you warm in terribly cold winters of Bhutan. I have a Blazer cape, a trend which has taken fashion world by storm. I shall blog on that soon enough!

Over the knee boots have been making their presence known for so many fashion seasons last few years. This wedge over the knee boot is my very favourite, not because it makes me incredibly tall but for the quality and design.I especially adore the studs on the wedge heels. These boots are one of few shoes I ordered from USA.
I have sold many of my tall boots, I am down to very few, I couldn't bring to sell few from some of my favourite brands.

Hello Spring!

Hey everyone!
Its end of march already and I haven't made a single post in 2015. I have been busy with everything in my life. Someone told me in life you can't have a fulfilling career, a great love life and an active social life all together. You have to give up at least one for other two, for me I would give up my social life 100 times over for other two. I enjoy working, I have some dreams I want to fulfil before I am 30, that gives me only 6 years. I really want to own a place of my own, definitely before my marriage. My boyfriend and me, we have this notion that one should be independently wealthy enough before you marry and decide to bring a child in your lives. He keeps lot of jobs with his studies and I don't mind working, and to sacrifice tad bit of social life is easy price to pay. I can't find myself to give up blogging all completely, I can't give as much time as I used to but I shall blog when and if I get time.

I went for a ride with a friend and decided it was time I had a post. Sorry most of my stuffs are in Thimphu, I have managed what I could with few stuffs I have with me. I am a sucker for Blazers, Blazer fetish even then and now, something never change it seems. That checked pant is one of my favourite bottoms, I love this ensemble. Its simple, elegant and classy, it has something matured vibe to this whole look. The Spring 2015 runways saw a tremendous shift towards 70s flare. From high waisted trousers to paisley prints. I am 70s fan, Would love to see how other contemporary designers and brand will reinvent 70s style in the coming seasons. Imagine if all those crazy prints were to reemerge this spring, will you give it a go?
This halter neck top from H&M is my favourite, its like it was made for me. They fit so perfectly. BTW don't I look good with few pounds of flesh on me? Weight gain equates curviness, doesn't hurt anyone with few curves to flaunt these days, does it?  Seriously! I can take a sigh of relief, as now I look my age. No more people confusing you with your 12 years old niece.
Gianvito Rossi, son of a very famous designer Sergio Rossi, his heels are to die for. I am literally obessed with Rossi men, their designs are indeed one in a million if not billion. My obsession deviates little more to Gianvito Rossi's collections. I can't afford a $1000 shoe even if my life depended on it, so I have been buying lot of lookalikes, replicas whatever they are called these days.
He has this huge collections of PVC pumps  and all are stunners. I love mine one in green and I have few more of his collections, can't wait to flaunt em.
