white on whites!

Howdy!

I just got back my laptop and they have done a very good job, it feels great. I thought I would post these photos, which were taken around last weekend, and now that I have my laptop I could do necessary editing.

Coming back to this post, it seems black and white will play a huge part in trends of 2013. They are no longer reserved for basics and formal events. In this look I tried to pull off what seemed impossible, yes! say hello to my new summer bestie..White on white! I have seen most celebrities wear whites and I have been meaning to do a post but whenever I tried on white ensemble, it just didn't look right. I have been wanting to do a post ever since Taylor Swift walked dressed all white for her Grammy performance, but what triggered me the most is the Korean band Big bang. I was watching their recent concert in Japan and all members were beautifully dressed in white, and I knew I somehow had to pull that look off. I admit wearing it could be little unnerving. It requires more effort to pull off this ensemble, as it bears higher risk for dreaded lunch spill or coffee (you know what I mean).

Well this is my second post on heel-less platforms (here). I did a fair research before I bought them and many reviews said they were quite comfy despite their looks. I Couldn't disagree more, we have very different definition of comfort! these badass shoes are very dangerous, I think you can walk in them only in plain platforms. If you trip I think you can seriously hurt your ankles. I am not really good with heels to begin with. How I ended up with this shoe is a very long story. I will save you from all these jibbber jabbers.

If my pants are long, I like it peg legged than folding it inside.

Look not at me but what is behind me, my white flats (laugh), like I said these shoes are pretty dangerous.

I don't feel the need to elaborate more on this trend, who doesn't like white, right? So thought will just come up with random topic. Do you guys watch Games of thrones? I started watching because I couldn't understand why everyone liked it so much. Even after watching few first episodes, I found it little too barbaric for my liking. I love action movies just fine, but somehow few episodes didn't meet my expectation. Few of my friends who are die hard fan of the show, they were like "its so awesome right?" and I couldn't help but give a hesitant " right...” But that is like history now; I am such a huge fan now. I even started reading their books on eBook. Season 3 was just aired last week and I read on CNET that it broke all BitTorent Records. I know show is little controversial on its adult scenes but I think its epic where story is headed.

Trend Report : Camo/ military styl3

 Hello People,
Did you guys get fooled today? (laugh).It feels like its been ages since I have updated, well my apologies! I thought this short easter break was perfect for us to have a post.When we started blogging everyone was so excited and we would go places to take pictures but now we feel so burdened to carry heavy camera when we go out, that is why we end up taking pictures near my house- almost all the time.
Today, as a easter monday weather was so perfect. It was partially sunny and not so hot, I decided it was a perfect weather to pull out my sweatshirt.I wasn't sure how and what to pair it with, then I remembered one of the  pairing I l liked on the sketch made my Stella Mccartney on how to wear skater skirt( here);the picture which I have as my cover photo on my page.

 I don't have to mention about the recent hype we got around camo- print. Camouflage print has been around for ages,but now military inspired print has taken a new life. The print that  was once a staple in guy's closet has gained quite a momentum in women's fashion. They can be edge and girlie, depends on how you rock it.From all the recent trends that are around, camo/ mlitary prints take the prize. I personally love em, and I have quite a small collection. I just love mixing the untamed military spirit with an effortless casual-cool vibe all the while playing with the essence of Street style's attitude.

I searched a perfect footwear for my this look, and I found these shoes in my un-touched, hardly worn section. It had both green and black shades. I read somewhere that shoe hoarders; the more they have the more they want, and I was like how true. I have never really been a hoarder, if I don't use an outfit or shoes, I have always found it wise to give away to someone needy, who could make a better use of it. Now I am a class A hoarder, I haven't thrown or given away any of my stuffs and I realised how stuffed my room was, actually its not that I don't want to, I just don't know whom to give here.
I urge my readers to donate stuffs you don't use in closet, little things matter you know. You don't have to hoard just to make a point that you have a huge closet- thats just my thought, I am not judging anyone.

 In 2009, I was obsessed with the likes of this glass, I had them in so many colors. Now I am not even sure if I still have em. She wears glasses and I knew she could just rock it with the sexy nerdy vibe, what do you think?

Trend Alert : Go bang! ( galaxy prints)

Hello Guys,
Well this is not really a new post, pictures were taken around last weekend but I just couldn't post em. As you know that my lappy is under surgery( laugh), what I mean is, I am having it repaired. Tending to your laptop after warranty is tough and expensive. I just repaired it few months ago and its just too much hassle considering my laptop is only 18 months old.I was in dilemma if I should repair it or just get a new one, I thought if it broke down now and then, not only it would save me lots of money but all the trouble. But Apple genius told me if I replaced my hard disk and battery, it shouldn't give me any problems for next few years.Repairing it would cost me only 1/3 of new laptop, I decided to repair it since I am in saving mood.
Coming back to the post, you must have seen cloths/bags/accesories in galaxy prints. If I were to play fashion police, I personally am not such a huge fan. I don't despise em,its not a 'taboo' print like how some prints are to me.I call it Big bang Print. At this point of my life, this is the skinniest I have been.More I worry about my weight, harder it gets to gain a few. This dress is a tank dress and its in size zero,it fits me like a second skin and I look even skinnier in it.That is the sole reason why I added a thin knit sweater.

I have always been a thorough reader, not only do I enjoy great literature I like reading anything read-able or read-worthy. I am really intrigued by famous/successful/infamous people and I like digging their backgrounds the most, I am quite a detective you know. I keep up with the tabloids, I know which celebrity is dating who and their Beverly hills mansions (laughs). I am not just drawn to their ultra fabulous lifestyles but I like knowing how/when/where/why they are famous. I like reading on designers, their struggle days and what or who inspire their designs. I like knowing so I dig deep about their designs and products. That is why I am really good in spotting fake products- in that field I have eyes of a hawk. It s not just fashion related materials I read, if you ask me about most notorious criminals, I might be able to give some background check  on em- like I said I even dig deep on infamousness.

Those heels are christian louboutin (*wink*) not quite, as much as I wanna say proudly they are, they are not. They are replica of Christian Louboutin Lucifer bows.They are quite famous among celebrities (here & here & here ). This is the only shoe, which I wanted to own in different colors as well. Normally, no matter how much I like the product, I never buy same thing two pieces, well what they say, there always is a first thing for something because I have it in black as well.

This sun-glass is the oldest and most worn from my collection.I know the resolution of the pictures are just bad and this is not one of my best looks, I kinda look ugly if you ask me. But lately I don't care how I look much, which is so unlike me (laugh).
