Go thrifty! ^_^

Dears,
Just want to say quick hello. My model is back, she returned from bhutan few weeks ago, how could I not have dragged her for a shoot (wink) . Last few weeks been really hot and sunny, I love good weathers, pictures come really good. It didn't take me much time to decide an outfit for her, I have been dying to do a post on those shorts. I am really digging flag prints these days. This short was little big for me, I knew instantly it would be perfect for her.
I knew that short was IT for her but I didn't know what to pair it with, I asked her to try this top and it fitted her so well and it hit me that this post and the next post were perfect to show how to shop in budget and yet still look good. I don' t think fashion should be deprived just because of financial dilemma.

Last november after Black friday, I watched a haul video of one of the  fashion guru I follow on youtube. She showed some really cool and amazing cloths from thrift stores and I couldn't believe how cheap they were. I may not wear the best designer cloths but I have never felt the need to shop in thrifts. There are so many brands which meet my budget. After watching her video I thought of checking out thrift stores and viola that is when I found that top and a short ( which I am wearing in next post). I didn't buy many, just a top and a short.Yes!they were just $10 each. I didn't really wear em because I am little bias about the quality and for months I didn't know what to do with em. Good thing about blogging is most unused stuffs come handy while matching your outfits.
I wanted to keep everything cheap, the shorts and bag are tad more expensive than the top but still is very cheap. Everything she has is very cheap except for those shoes. Studs never get old, do they?
Normally when I wear cheap cloths I like to balance it either with expensive shoes or accessories. Bearing that in mind I added this my ultra trendy sunny from Prada. I am not saying it is necessary to balance, just expressing what I think and what I normally do. I am no pro- fashion consultant or affiliated stylist, and I would rather not act like one. I am someone, who loves fashion and who has weird ways of doing things.

This hair is princess Jasmine of Aladdin inspired. My model she has very long hair and I was like man! I totally wana try that hairstyle. I should have given her a tiara as well ( Laugh).

Have a good week everyone and look forward to the continuation of this post.

50 Spikes of Grey ^_~

Hello everyone!
Wow! 1000 likes on facebook..what better way to celebrate and thank everyone than a blog post. We are newbies in bloggerland yet we have been getting tremendous supports, we really appreciate everyone who ever liked our pictures, commented or messaged with sweet words.
I will make this quick post( people who read will get the innuendo behind my title LoL )..well this is how I went to school today, except for those dms and accessories. Normally my photo shoot doesn't take much time and today it took even lesser time.I was afraid it was gona get dark when I reached home for photoshoot but this impeccably long day proves to be a gift, as I said it doesn't get dark until 8pm.  I just added few accessories to my ootd( outfit of the day) and changed from slip on to dms. Last few weeks were so cold due to rain and I thought this time winter came early, I couldn't be more wrong.  Today, it was very hot and I had tough time in dms even though pictures were taken right outside my house.
My fall closet is almost ready--with lots of spikes and studs and I am glad to announce that I have been good girl and haven't been shopping much like I used to. Nothing gives you that punk rock feeling of freedom and rebellion like fierce spikes and studs on your clothing. I wore both top and bottom with spikes and they were really cheap. Whats there not to love about spikes and studs, when you can buy them and design your own  one-of-a-kind custom patterns to fit your need exactly.

I have this OCD,I can't wear my hair down during hot days and it gets funnier, I can't cook or eat with my hair down, nothing disgusts me more than a hair in my food.I wore this simple hairdo to battle the heat and I matched my hair bands with my cloths.
There is one vintage car parked near my house, it has been there as long as I can remember. So, I took my chances and took few clicks and they turned out pretty good.

This is not my first post on doc martens (here). I did my fair share of talking on em so I am not gona elaborate any further.

This handbag is one of the first gifts I received from my bf, I just wanted to find a matching bag and voila! there it was with both grey anf black shades!
As I said this time not much writing and once again thank you everyone for all the supports in this short span of time that we have been blogging.

Denim & leather pairing : yay or nay ?

Hello my Lovelies,
As promised, I’m back. I took a long gap from blogging, actually after valentine posts I wanted to, and am glad I did.
I have noticed people are always quite curious to see how to style skater skirts, since I practically live in skirts/dresses, it would be good to show you what I wear with mine. Oh! How I love my skater skirt collections! They are closet staple of mine right now-namely because they are comfortable, have the perfect amount of stretch, come in awesome colors and are super flattering.

I bought this skirt a very long time ago and before I could do a post on it I gained a little bit of weight and this skirt became little tight for me. Recently I have been so sick that I lost all those extra kilos(which I gained after much effort) . I fit back in that skirt, nonetheless it makes me sad about the weight lost.

Skater skirts—these babies won’t break your bank balance and you can get in almost all sizes. It’s the ultimate lesson in versatility, cinching in at the waist and flaring at the hip, there isn’t a figure these skirts won’t flatter. I think it gives you that ladylike elegance and subtle nod to its retro post.

Actually I am so happy that I am able to wear that denim jacket, you have no idea for how long I have been wanting to show it, its very thick so I couldn’t wear it till now. Before I picked this skirt I paired my denim jacket with my leather pant, man! I was literally on fire..was way to hot even though there is chillness in weather due to all the raining. I don't think its ever enough no matter how much spikes and studs you already have in your closet and I am in love with the flag detailing at the back and lastly its distressed look all over is the ultimate catch.

This hairdo looks so chic, all I did was tie a messy normal pony tail, just took one strand of my hair and wrapped it around my hair tie and pin down with some bobby pins. Simple yet pretty, right?

I fell in love with those shoes at first sight, but when I saw their price tag I gave up because I have too many slip ons and flats already. Days went by and I totally forgot about those shoes until boxing day when I saw them on sale, It was $169 initially and reached $49, quite a luck I know, I was so happy when I actually got in my size.
I will have a post soon again as foretold my weather forecast I see no rain anytime soon. Hope you had a good weekend like I did with lots of good food and company..see ya soon guys!
